The genealogical research group of the Amana Heritage Society is creating this tree to be the official genealogical record of the individuals and families of the Amana Colonies in Iowa, and the earlier Inspirationist Communities in Ebenezer, New York, and in Germany.

To look at the Amana Family Tree just enter the name of an individual or a family in the search box. You may search for a woman's maiden (Birth) or married (Married) name. You will be shown full information for individuals who have been dead for at least 25 years and limited information about people who are currently alive or have died within the last 25 years.
To protect vital personal information, access to full information of living individuals and those who have died within the last 25 years is restricted. For many Amana individuals we know both first and last names. For a few we do not. In these cases you will see "XXX" instead of the last name and sometimes even for the first name.
For some women we only know their married name and not their maiden name. In these cases you will find something like "Charlotte XXX" or "Barbara XXX".
